PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widening shield machine capable of enlarging a range of expansion and increasing durability and reliability of a sealing section of a partition wall. SOLUTION: An external rotating drum 27 set around a shield axial-center in a rotatable manner, an internal eccentric drum 33 supported around an eccentric axial-center Oe at a certain distance away from the shield axial-center O in a rotatable manner and a bearing hole 34 formed in a position capable of being moved on the shield axial-center O of the internal eccentric drum 33 to support a cutter driving shaft 23 in a rotatable manner are provided to a pressure partition wall 20 provided to the front of a shield body, and the external rotating drum 27 and internal eccentric drum 33 are respectively rotationally driven to provide a cutter widening moving device for linearly reciprocating the cutter driving shaft 23 from the shield axial-center to the direction of widening. The linearly reciprocating cutter driving shaft is supported by the pressure partition wall through a rotational move section.
