PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and method, which are capable of making a user easily appreciate digital images, without reducing image sizes as in the conventional albums made of paper by utilizing electrical vapor sheets (electronic paper). SOLUTION: This display device has an image data acquiring section which acquires image data, an image display section which is formed by bundling and integrating plural sheets of the approximately sheet-like image display media for displaying the images by using the acquired image data, an image display form setting means which sets the image display form, when displaying the images on the image display surfaces of the image display media and an image display regulating section which regulates the displayed images in accordance with the set image display form.
