PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide interior finish members for a motor vehicle capable of releasing the lock by the amount of door movement smaller than the amount of door movement conventionally required for releasing the lock. SOLUTION: A door 10 moved for opening or closing, a lock portion and a lock receiving portion 20 which are locked and released from lock when one is moved relative to the other, and a coupling portion 30, which couples the door 10 and lock portion and lock receiving portion 20 and interlock the movements of the door 10 and lock portion and lock receiving portion 20, are provided, and the coupling portion 30 has an amount of movement amplifier 33 which amplifies the amount of movements of the lock portion and lock receiving portion 20 relative to the amount of movement of the door 10 in this interior finish members for motor vehicle.
