PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a quantity of light arriving at a photodetector to enhance the photoreception sensitivity in the photodetector. SOLUTION: In this radiation detector constituted by bonding a scintillator part for transducing radiation into light and the photodetector for detecting the light transduced by the scintillator part via an adhesive layer, a scintillator is included in the adhesive layer to transduce the radiation that can not be transduced in the scintillator part into light.
