PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having excellent display quality and being easy to reuse the liquid crystal cell. SOLUTION: An optical compensation sheet, which is used for the liquid crystal display device, is characterized by comprising a transparent supporting body having an alignment layer and an optically anisotropic layer composed of a compound with a discotic structural unit arranged thereon in this order where the alignment layer is a cross-linked film, of a polymer mixture containing a polymer of a lower degree of polymerization and a polymer of a higher degree of polymerization with difference in their respective degrees of polymerization 50 or more, rubbing treated on the surface. |
