PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device capable of preventing deterioration of controllability by surely writing data in a backup memory when power source voltage is dropped. SOLUTION: An SRAM 24 keeps data even in an OFF state of an ignition switch 40. A CPU 21 periodically writes data in the SRAM 24, and conducts engine control by fetching data stored in the SRAM 24 to conduct engine control. The written data in the SRAM 24 is divided into a first data containing sequentially varying data or each learning value and a second data other than the first data. When the power source voltage Vcc is dropped, the CPU 21 writes only the first data in the SRAM 24.
