PURPOSE: A current leakage breaker apparatus is provided to protect damage of product by breaking the power being applied to the transformer upon occurrence of leakage current, while achieving an in-advance prevention against fire caused due to the current leakage. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a switching unit connected to a power input terminal of a primary coil(L1) of a neon transformer(TR), and which controls the power being supplied to the primary coil which switches in accordance with an input control signal; a current detection unit(CT) for detecting the current flowing between the ground and neutral point of secondary coils(L2,L3) of the transformer; a switching control unit(2) for determining as a current leakage state when the current higher than a predetermined level is detected in the current detection unit, and outputting a high signal for switching off the switching unit; and a rectifying unit for converting an input commercial AC power into a DC power, and feeding the DC voltage, as a driving voltage, to each unit.
