METHOD FOR SELECTING BASE STATION(OR SECTOR) FOR FORWARD DATA TRANSMISSION REQUEST OF MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for selecting a base station(or a sector) for a forward data transmission request of a mobile terminal is provided to lower load between base stations(or sectors) and improve whole transmission traffic by actively selecting the sector. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal performs calculation for DRC transmission by using load information of a base station(or a sector) transmitted from the base station(S20). The mobile terminal requests data transmission to the base station(or the sector) corresponding to an index which is the maximum value obtained by multiplying the calculated DRC value with reception probability received from the base station(S21). The mobile terminal transmits DRC including information including data rate of a forward link and the sector transmitting data according to the data rate to each base station(or the sector) within an active set(S22).
