BUSINESS SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR DOCTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business decision-making support system which allows a salesman (MR) of medicines for doctors to obtain and analyze necessary information at need. SOLUTION: A business decision-making support system is structured in such a manner that it makes use of (1) sales results and target settings of individual salesmen for doctors by products and hospitals, (2) analysis of uses by doctors that the salesmen regularly visit by the products, (3) totalization by telephone calls, academic visits, and interviews by the salesmen, and (4) records of activities of the salesmen by the hospitals and visited doctors by obtaining information regarding the use states of medicines for doctors by sorting the total number of prescriptions of the doctors and the prescriptions of specific company products by medicines of specific medical effects by interviewing the doctors for analysis of uses by products of medicines for doctors.
