PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of processing a silver halide photographic material in a nearly dry state. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a photographic chemical agent transmitter and a means of providing the photographic chemical agent so as to form an image by causing a photographic chemical reaction in addition to a means of supplying a photographic material and may further have a heating means to accelerate the reaction, a scanning means and solution applicators in various stations. The transmitter is laid on or brought into contact with the silver halide emulsion layer of a photographic material with a formed image and diffuses the photographic chemical agent into the inside and outside of the photographic material so as to carry out the desired chemical reaction. When many transmitters are used one by one, photographic chemical reactions can be carried out in the desired order.
