PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azimuth measuring device capable of measuring an azimuth from a reference position to a measured object position even in the ground or in the water. SOLUTION: This measuring device includes first, second and third exciting coils 13zx, 13Y and 13Z mounted on a reference position P1 in a state that their center axes are respectively agreed with each axis of three-axis coordination system, a first switching circuit 14 for exciting the first through third exciting coils in order of the output of a signal generating circuit, first, second and third detecting coils 15X, 15Y and 15Z mounted on the measured object position Px separated from the reference position in a state that their center axes are respectively agreed with each axis of the three-axis coordination system, a second switching circuit 16 for successively fetching the output of the first through third detecting coils, and a voltage fetching circuit for fetching a voltage signal from the output fetched from the second switching circuit.
