PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sliding area of a parted tappet for changing lift on a tappet guide bore, and reduce surface pressure of the tappet. SOLUTION: At both edge parts in the circumferential direction of a first outer circumferential surface 41c of a center tappet 41, protruded parts 41d are formed continuously from the first outer circumferential surface 41c to be extended in such a way as to overlap with the side of a side tappet 42, and at an overlapping part of the protruded part 41d with the side of the side tappet 42, a first receiving surface 41f to slide to get in contact with a parted part to the side tappet 42 is formed. The protruded part 41d extended from the center tappet 41 is extended in a tappet axial center direction.
