RACK BUSH OF STEERING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A rack bush of a steering system for a vehicle is provided to reduce vibration and noise by inserting and fixing an assembling protrusion of a rack bush in an assembling groove of a rack housing with modifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: A rack bush of a steering system for a vehicle is composed of a rack housing(50) formed with a hollow pipe; a rack bar(70) moved axially in the rack housing; and a rack bush(90) installed in the rack housing to guide the movement of the rack bar. Plural assembling protrusions(91) are formed in the outer periphery of the rack bush, and assembling grooves(51) are formed around the rack housing to insert the assembling protrusions. A contact protrusion(100) is formed in the surface of the assembling protrusion to face to the assembling groove axially, and contacted to the assembling groove to reduce clearance. The assembling protrusion is inserted to the assembling groove, and clearance is prevented with the contact protrusion. The reliability is improved with reducing vibration and noise.
