PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one valve seat within a hole and one valve seal surface, cooperating with the valve seat, in a valve member. SOLUTION: A part connecting a first pressure chamber 60 connected to a high-pressure collecting chamber 10 to a second pressure chamber 62 connected to a fuel injection valve 15 is controlled by a first valve. An overall stroke hg is limited by opened and closed positions of the first valve. The hole 43 opens into a first leakage oil chamber 59. A passage is defined between the valve member 42 and a wall of the hole 43. A second valve formed by a hole 54 and the valve member 42 at a leakage-oil-side end of the passage opens the passage when the first valve is in the closed position and connects the second pressure chamber 62 to the first leakage oil chamber 59. The second valve is configured as a slide valve formed by a cylindrical end section, serving as a throttle section, 70, of the valve member 42. The throttle section 70 enters the hole 43 airtightly after a part of the entire stroke hg is covered during an open stroke of the valve member 42. |
