PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate restriction due to use of small money requiring a shop to prepare the small money for change without its shortage, forcing a customer to waste time in finding small money from a purse in payment at a checkout, and resulting in prolongation of a waiting line and a swell of the purse with the small money. SOLUTION: An electronic change purse system is operated by a storage medium storing low-value remaining amount information, a reading/writing device for the,storage medium, and a cash register interlocked with it. |
