<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology to perform URL input from a terminal with the small number of key strokes. SOLUTION: The terminal having an input means formed by allocating candidate characters consisting of one or plural characters, etc., to one input key and allocating input key codes to the respective input keys transmits strings of the input key codes to an input server device by operations of the input keys, the input server device generates strings of the candidate characters by combining the candidate characters corresponding to the respective input key codes of the strings of the input keys received from the terminal, judges whether or not a network resource name including the generated strings of the candidate characters exists, transmits a list of the existing network resource names to the terminal, the terminal displays the received list of the network resource names and an operator of the terminal establishes the network resource name selected from the displayed list as the input contents.</p> |
