<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column anti-theft device capable of efficiently blocking latch bolt when a casing is ruptured. SOLUTION: The anti-theft device comprises a first part 26A and a second part 26B connected together in an easily separable manner, a latch bolt 32 mounted to slide in the first part of the first part 26A of the anti-theft device between a projecting position and a retracted position collaborating with a shaft 22 of the steering column, and a blocking member 42 for blocking the movable latch bolt 32 which blocks the movable latch belt 32 mounted to rotate inside the first part 26A between a standby position away from the latch bolt 32 and an active position in which it collaborates with the latch bolt 32. The outer block of a cam 54 formed to the blocking member 42 rotates in the turning direction of the blocking member 42 and which is intended to collaborate with the latch bolt 32.</p> |
