PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a heat fixing device provided with a heater whose performance is stabilized, whose durability is excellent and whose life is prolonged. SOLUTION: This heat fixing device is mounted in an image forming device and heat fixes a material to be fixed 26, and is constituted of at least the heater 11 consisting of a base plate 12, a heating resistor layer 13 formed on the base plate and an insulated protective layer 16 to cover the heating resistor layer 13, heat-resistant film 20 slid by coming into contact with the insulated protective layer 16 of the heater 11 and a pressure roller 21 bringing the heat-resistant film 20 into press-contact with the heater 11 and sliding it, and the material to be fixed 26 is heat fixed while moving together with the heat-resistant film 20 by being held between the heat-resistant film 20 and the pressure roller 21, and the heating resistor layer 13 of the heater 11 consists of a BCN compound having conductivity, and the insulated protective layer 16 consists of the BCN compound having excellent insulation resistance.
