PURPOSE: A PDP and a method for manufacturing the PDP are provided to reduce an additional process and the number of mask on manufacturing the PDP and prevent cells from being mis-discharged by blocking an electrical and optical interference among adjacent cells. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate of PDP includes a scan/sustain electrode(70), a common sustain electrode(50) and a pair of trigger electrodes(57,63). A black stripe(75) is formed between the trigger electrodes(57,63). The scan/sustain electrode(70), the common sustain electrode(50) and the trigger electrodes(57,63) are composed of transparent electrodes(44,52,58,65) and bus electrodes(48,56,62,69). The bus electrodes(48,56,62,69) is formed successively with Ti-layers(45,53,59,66), Cu-layers(46,54,60,67) and Ag-layers(47,55,61,68) on the transparent electrodes(44,52,58,62). |
