PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple color image forming device capable of easily, and correctly detecting rotary fluctuation elements (fluctuation width and phase) of an image carrier, as well as obtaining the better color matching preciseness. SOLUTION: In this image forming device for forming the image, by forming the toner image in different color on the respective image carrier, and directly transferring the toner image in different color formed by plural image forming means on the same recording medium successively, by plural image forming means equipping the image carrier being rotary driven, the position of a pattern detecting means is disposed so that phase differential becomes approximately 180 angular degree, with regard to the exposure latent image, by means of plural image forming means provided with image carriers being rotary driven. |
