PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multitask system capable of improving the execution efficiency of operation processing without complicating the processing of a message issue task and an operation execution task, and an inter-task communication method for the multitask system. SOLUTION: The multitask system having the message issue task for issuing an operation instruction as a message and the operation execution task for receiving a message issued from the message issue task and executing operation based on the received message has an FIFO buffer for executing prescribed processing and a message mediation task and the operation execution task executes prescribed operation on the basis of a message received from the message mediation task.
