PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a visibility adjusting mechanism constituted so that observation visibility at the time of arranging an operation member at a specified position may always become the specified observation visibility which should be set. SOLUTION: This camera has the visibility adjusting mechanism for adjusting the observation visibility of a finder device by operating it from the outside by a user, and is equipped with the operation member 59 driving the visibility adjusting mechanism and an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the observation visibility of the finder device to be a value which should be set in advance when the operation member is in a specified state.
