PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect with a simple constitution a terminal T of a connector C with an opening part 3 formed to be communicated to a cavity 2 in the direction orthogonal to an insertion direction along which the terminal T is inserted into the cavity 2. SOLUTION: A connecting piece 20 is provided to be supported by a connector holder 14. The connecting piece 20 is displaced between an evacuation attitude and an inspection attitude to connect a probe and the terminal T so as to allow electrical continuity. Continuity inspection is thereby carried out by only constituting to displace the probe relatively to the prescribed direction in a condition where the probe 30 itself is held by the probe holder 14.
