PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, lightweight and inexpensive noncontact type external auditory meatus temperature measuring thermometer superior in safety and having a temperature measuring system having high measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: This external auditory meatus temperature measuring clinical thermometer is provided with an infrared ray detecting part composed of a body, a waveguide, a thermopile sensor, a sensor frame and a sensor cover and a temperature measuring circuit part composed of an operation amplifier, an AD converter, a switch circuit, a base board arranged with a microcontroller, a liquid crystal display part and a switch. A nonlinear amplification voltage signal outputted by the infrared ray energy incident thermopile sensor and a nonlinear signal from a thermistor for detecting a temperature of the thermopile sensor itself are taken in. Offset voltage of the operation amplifier is detected by the switch circuit, and offset is removed by a microcontroller inside program, AD conversion is performed on an analog signal still in the nonlinear signal, and after taking the analog signal in the microcontroller as a digital signal, linealizing processing is performed.
