PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge type display panel, integrated with a front filter having proper electromagnetic wave shielding property and heat ray cut off property and high transparency in the entire visible light region, including blue light. SOLUTION: The gas discharge type display panel is obtained, by interposing an electromagnetic wave shielding and heat ray cutting-off film 3 between a transparent substrate 2 and a PDP(plasma display panel) body 20 and integrating these with intermediate layers 4A, 4B for adhesion. The electromagnetic wave shielding and heat ray cut-off film 3 is formed by stacking thin titanium dioxide films and thin metal films on a base film in 5-13 layers, preferably stocked in 9 layers.
