PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce line flickers, while displaying a monochrome image and an arbitrary image employing a low cost constitution, and to simultaneously conduct minimization adjustment of line flickers/entire display screen flickers, and to cope with the problem associated with a high definition and large size screen. SOLUTION: Polarities of data red signals SDR1 and SDR2 are reversed for every two scanning electrodes of a liquid crystal display 1 and for every signal electrode and are successively applied to corresponding signal electrodes.
