METHOD FOR MAKING READILY OPENABLE COVER OF CAN AND READILY OPENABLE COVER OF CAN

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making sleeve with outer bead from sheet blank with heat welded coating by deep drawing; in zone adjacent to transition of sleeve bottom to wall blanking the whole bottom portion for making ring of cover; then forming helical bent portion on ring by partially twisting its wall towards outer side of cover for making turned inside portion of ring restricting opening whose contour is similar to that of blanked opening; flattening bent portion in plane of cover ring or in plane parallel to it at forming annular flange for heat welding. At flattening bent portion or after that procedure blanked bottom portion is heat welded with surface of annular flange. Ready cover includes ring with outer bead for forming double-fold portion and with annular flange to which breaking-off part is fixed. EFFECT: lowered metal losses at making can cover. 12 cl, 12 dwg
