SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing oxidized copper ores, mixed sulfideoxidized copper ores as well as intermediates, final tailings, and slags containing oxidized copper compounds. Method includes crushing and grinding starting material to fineness of fractions superior to fineness of fractions required for flotation, leaching followed by separation of liquid and solid phases of product and simultaneous washing with a part of extraction raffinate and water, after which solid phase is additionally ground and floated, whereas liquid phases are extracted to give raffinate and copper-containing extractant solution, raffinate being more than once used for leaching and washing. In addition, reextraction of copper from copper- containing extractant solution is possible and regenerated extractant is used for extraction, whereas pure copper- containing solution is subjected to electroextraction, after which exhausted electrolyte is utilized for reextraction. Extraction is carried out by bringing copper-containing solution into contact with cation-exchange-type organic extractant.
