LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING SWING COMMON ELECTRODE AND ITS DRIVING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device using a swing common electrode in order to enhance the response speed of a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In this display device, when pixels are driven by using a common electrode as a storage capacitor, a voltage to be applied to the common electrode in order to enhance the response speed of liquid crystal is completed at (-) at a gate ON time when a pixel voltage is changed from (-) to (+) (1) and is completed at (+) at the gate ON time when the pixel voltage is changed from (+) to (-) (2) and it satisfies a condition that it repeatedly swings between (-) and (+) after a gate is closed (3).
