Reactor with mixing device

The system includes a vessel supplied and filled with a primary fluid and containing a series of vertical tubes perforated with lateral orifices over several different levels. The tubes are supplied with a second fluid thus allowing contact between the two fluids. The diameter of each tube is 3 - 100 mm for a superficial velocity of the primary fluid of 0.1 - 100 cm/s, and the distance between the orifices at the lowest level relative to the direction of flow and exit of the tube is greater than 50 mm. AN Independent claim is included for a reactor incorporating the system for mixing and distribution of fluids.
