PURPOSE: Provided is a method for recycling a waste glass and bottle by firing, which can reduce a cost of manufacture, and which can provide a recycled glass capable of emitting light in the dark and showing sterilization or deodorization, or pollution-prevention or anti-fungus effects. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (i) crushing a waste glass or bottle to produce a crushed glass, (ii) milling the crushed glass to produce a glass powder, (iii) forming the glass powder into predetermined shape, and firstly firing the formed glass powder to form a porous glass(1), and (iv) cooling the porous glass and cutting the glass by abrasion. The temperature of the first firing is 900-1000 deg.C. The method further comprises the steps of embodying luminous agent into the porous glass and secondarily firing the glass, and dry-abrading the glass. The temperature of the second firing is 650-750 deg.C
