PURPOSE: A wireless/wire transmitting and receiving headset device using voice dialing is provided to add receiving and transmitting functions to wireless/wire headset without changing in hardware and freely use the headset by updating only a program, and enable receive/transmission without operating a key board. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a wireless/wire headset is connected to a terminal. If not connected, it is checked whether a flip/folder is open and telephonic communication is achieved through a key pad. If connection is confirmed, it is confirmed whether the flip/folder is open and a switch of the headset is turned on. If the switch is turned on, a counter of a modem detects switch turn-on time. If the switch is in turn-on state during the first regular time T1, the terminal performs turn-on and turn-off actions to process a telephone call. If the switch is in turn-on state during the second regular time, the terminal is converted into a voice-dialing mode, and a voice signal is received through a mike mounted at the wireless/wire headset and transmitted to the desired user by referring data stored at a memory.
