PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the positional information of an image (pattern for detection) formed on a recording member with simple mechanical structure and to easily obtain a high-quality color image. SOLUTION: This image detecting device is provided with a light source means, an illumination means including an irradiation lens irradiating the recording member on which the image is formed with luminous flux from the light source means, and an image-formation means including an image-formation lens forming the image on the recording member on the surface of a light receiving means, and detects the image on the recording member based on a signal obtained by the light receiving means. In the device, the irradiation lens and the image-formation lens are integrally constituted of the same material. |
