PURPOSE: A method for forming adaptor protection circuit is provided to reduce parts count and cost by eliminating the need of arranging a photo coupler for signal transmission, while reducing the size of PCB. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of designing, at the same time by using an integrated circuit, onto a printed circuit board, a secondary circuit(11) for detecting an abnormal state of a circuit and a primary circuit(12) for performing a latch off operation when the detection result is transferred from the secondary circuit to a latch circuit; and a second step of performing a protection circuit function by dividing the reference voltage of the integrated circuit, applying the divided voltage to the latch circuit of the primary circuit, and allowing the electric potential to be rapidly raised when the abnormality of the adaptor is detected through the secondary circuit.
