PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual acuity meter allowing for a quantitative measurement of a visual acuity at a specific wavelength. SOLUTION: A size of a visual target and the direction are set by rotating a visual target plate 17. The target is illuminated by light sources 44, 45; by rotating an optical density adjusting disk 32, a background optical density of the target is changed; by rotating a color filter disk 61, a background color of the target is changed. When a target in the plate 17 is confirmed, an examinee notifies his confirmation at a response switch 6. Since the visual acuity is measured with change of the background color, the visual acuity at a specific wavelength is measured quantitatively. |
