PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink holding recording material of high definition which has a strike-through of ink and the durability and productivity at the level of practical use and enables separation of a recording layer from a substrate (this facilitates recycling of the substrate) and which can be applied to print recording paper in the fields of stencil printing paper, ink jet recording, thermal transfer printer recording, offset press recording, etc., and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The ink holding recording material has a constitution wherein a porous body constituted of a structure having opening pores ranging in the three-dimensional directions of indented shapes branching in the shape of cylinders is preferably laminated on or provided in impregnation in one or both sides of the substrate. The porous body is formed of a W/O type emulsion wherein a resin being in an oil phase is made a continuous phase and a water phase is made a discontinuous phase, in the manufacturing method thereof. |
