PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify signals to be transmitted from a main control means to a pattern variation control means. SOLUTION: At the time of transmitting the signals from the main control means 26 for controlling a game operation to the pattern variation control means 36 and controlling the variation of the patterns of a pattern variation display means 21 on condition that a pattern start means 14 detects a game ball, pattern variation pattern sequences for which the colors of a background image or the like and variation patterns are time-sequentially combined corresponding to variation instruction signals transmitted from the main control means 26 are stored in the pattern variation control means 36 beforehand, and a prescribed variation instruction signal is transmitted from the main control means 26 to the pattern variation control means 36. The pattern variation pattern sequence stored in the pattern variation control means 36 is selected by random number processing corresponding to the fluctuation instruction signal and the patterns of the pattern display means 21 are made to vary according to the pattern variation pattern sequence. |
