PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight cellular concrete article more excellent than the conventional lightweight cellular concrete article in water resistance and waterproofing, antibacterial and antiseptic properties. SOLUTION: Silica sand, quartzite, aluminum powder as a foaming agent, titanium oxide, polyvinyl alcohol, a carbon fiber and nickel are mixed in cement, which is then foamed. The foamed article is subjected to hydrothermal reaction in an autoclave at about 180 deg.C in the saturated steam of about 10 kg/cm2 in terms of gauge pressure for 10-20 hours. |
