摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ag-Cu-graphite electric contact material having a small contact resistance and excellent in consumption resistance while having welding resistance. SOLUTION: Graphite is uniformly dispersed into an Ag-Cu matrix. For this purpose, as a sintering material having a composition containing, by mass, 1.0 to 4.0% graphite and 1.0 to 4.0% Cu, and the balance substantially Ag, (1) the material in which the grain size of the graphite grains is controlled to 1 to 200μm or (2) the material in which Cu is entered into solid solution or (3) the material in which the average contact resistance is controlled to <=0.3 m(Ω) is used. Thus, a contact in which the increase of temperature is small and having a long service life can be obtained.
