PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase strength of a longer sidewall of a base which is higher than and longer in a lateral width than a shorter sidewall of the base, thereby improving strength and rigidity of a whole folding container to lengthen a service life of the container. SOLUTION: The foldable container comprises the base 1 and sidewalls 2 and 3 provided to surround the base 1, wherein the sidewalls 2 and 3 are folded to overlie on the base. A reinforcing member 5 is provided at a corner formed by an internal wall surface 1a1 of the longer sidewall 1a of the base and an upper surface of the shorter sidewall 1b of the base.
