PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box file capable of easily altering index content. SOLUTION: The upwardly opened box file 10 is formed from a rectangular bottom wall 11 long in a before and behind direction, a pair of the left and right side walls 12 and 13 provided to both left and right sides of the bottom wall 11, and the front and rear walls 15 and 16 provided between the bottom wall 11 and the front and rear end edges of the site walls 12 and 13. The box file 10 is formed by using a transparent sheet as a molding material. The front wall 15 consists of an inside wall surface 15A and an outside wall surface 15B and both left and right sides of them are welded in a superposed state to form a pocket 26 opened up and down.
