PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of a toilet seat and a toilet lid which are free from damage at a bearing part. SOLUTION: With the fitting structure of the toilet seat and the toilet lid in which a horizontal rotation axis 7 is fitted to a toilet seat device main body 4 in free rotation mounted on the top face of a toilet bowl 3, a bearing part 5 is set at a base end part of either the toilet seat 1 or the toilet lid 2 on one hand, and a reinforcing material 6 reinforcing the bearing part 5 along the inner periphery 5b of the bearing part 5 on the other, the bearing part 5r is fixed to the rotation axis 7 insertion-fitted to the same through the reinforcing material 6, and a damper means 8 resisting against a rotation to one direction of the rotation axis 7 is coupled with the rotation axis 7, the reinforcing material 6 is press fitted into and along the inner periphery 5b of the bearing part leaving no space in between.
