PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopping device for working a train capable applicable to a train protecting device. SOLUTION: This stopping device for working the train comprises a down signal light emitting machine 11, an up signal light emitting machine 12, and an warning buzzer 21, and selectively connects a power supply 4 to the light emitting machines and the warning buzzer through a controller 3. First driving routes individually leading from the power supply 4 to the down signal light emitting machine 11, the up signal light emitting machine 12, and the warning buzzer 21 are formed, and second driving routes individually leading from the power supply 4 to the down signal light emitting machine 11 and the up signal light emitting machine 12 through the first driving routes are formed.
