USE OF REFORMED SOLID CAKE AS SOIL RECOVERING MATERIAL IN LANDFILL

PURPOSE: Use of a reformed solid cake as a soil recovering material in landfill is provided to recycle a sludge formed in treating sewage or waste water, to prevent a partial sinkage of landfill, to improve a septic speed of waste component and to inhibit hazardous germs and bacteria. CONSTITUTION: The solid cake is reformed by adding 18 parts by weight of limestone to 82 parts by weight of a dehydrated sludge consisting of 10-15 wt.% of a volatile solid obtained by dehydrating a sludge produced from a sewage purification treatment process and 70-90 wt.% of a fixed solid.
