PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new combined false-twisted yarn excellent in stretchability, bulky feeling, and soft feeling, hardly causing splash unevenness, and capable of providing a feeling with a smooth surface touch, in good production efficiency at a low cost. SOLUTION: A filament yarn mixed in spinning, and comprising two kinds of undrawn polytrimethylene terephthalate multifilaments spun with 10,000-120,000 difference in spinning drafts, and having 0.02-0.05 birefringence at the higher draft side, and 50-200% difference in elongations is subjected to false-twisting by using a false-twisting machine having a noncontact heat-set heater for false twisting under a condition of 0.13-0.31 cN/dtex tension for the false twisting, 200-400 deg.C set temperature for the false twisting, and 0.05-0.10 s set time for the false twisting.
