PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively forming concave on a brick or a stone material by processing without requiring high-degree experience. SOLUTION: In a method for cutting refractory 4 while relatively moving a disc-shaped cutter blade unidirectionally with respect to the brick, a guide stand 2 having concave is placed on a cutter stand 1 and a movable moving stand 3 is placed on the guide concave 7 of the guide stand 2 and the refractory 7 is supported on the moving stand 3 and cut by moving the moving stand 3 to form the concave to the brick by processing. The guide concave 7 of the guide stand 2 is formed into a cylindrical inner surface shape.
