A wall formed from square edge predecorated wallboards and the method of constructing a seamless wall from square edge predecorated wallboards (10) comprising folding the edge flaps of two abutting square edge wallboards (10) away from the joint, cutting a groove (G) along the length of the joint formed by the squa re edge abutting wallboards (10), adhering a joint strip (30) comprising a rib (34) which fits within the groove (G) and a support strip (32) therefore which extends laterally over the un- covered portion of each gypsum board adjacent to the joint, and double-cutti ng and adhering the edge flaps of the wallboards (10) to the joint strip (32) so as to form a seamless appearing joint.
