PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a constitution capable of preventing a fault image by surely preventing a color mixture via a transfer cylinder by considering a problem of the printer having the cylinder for reducing the size. SOLUTION: The printer comprises a plate drum unit 1 having a plate drum 1-0 wound with a plate for printing and containing the plate in the drum 1-0, a heat sensitive water repellant printing plate contained in the drum 1-0, a writing unit 22 for writing data to be printed on the plate on the water repellant printing plate on the drum 1-0, a developing unit 23 for supplying a printing ink to the plate on the drum 1-0, an intermediate transfer unit 24 having a transfer unit capable of superposition transferring the ink supplied onto the plate on the drum 1-0, a simultaneous transfer unit 25 capable of simultaneously transferring the ink transferred to the transfer unit to the sheet, and a printing sheet supply unit 27 for supplying the sheet to the unit 25. In this printer, the unit 24 has a means 32 for smoothing a layer of the ink transferred onto the transfer unit. |
