PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling device which can accurately and speedily perform a label-pasting without a positional slip, and at the same time, prevents troubles such as a cut in the middle or a breakage of a band-shape mount from occurring, and can surely avoid the generation of a situation like obstructing a high speed operation of the device. SOLUTION: This labeling device 5 is equipped with a peel plate (peeling member) 14. The peel plate 14 peels labels L from the band-shape mount S by changing the feeding out direction of the band-shape mount S being fed out at an acute angle. On the downstream side of the peel plate 14, a label feeding out roller 31 which controls the feeding out speed of the labels L is provided. Also, a tension-relaxing device 50 is provided on a transfer path of the band-shape mount S between the label feeding out roller 31 and a taking up shaft 13. In this case, the tension relaxing device 50 keeps a tension generated on the band-shape mount at a specified value or lower by the taking up of a taking up mechanism 10.
