PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag capable of reducing the cost by minimizing the use of a gas generating agent without impairing the expandability of the air bag. SOLUTION: Two or more holes 3 or slits 4 are formed on a bag body 1 for the air bag, and the cloth of the bag body is torn from end parts of the holes 3 or the slits 4, and two or more holes 3 or slits 4 are connected to be a large opening when the pressure inside of the bag body 1 reaches a specific value, whereby a gas discharging amount is increased.
